China Fashion Gala 2020 Goes Virtual in Coming Month

The annual China Fashion Gala is one of the best evening events that people can’t leave even in the Pandemic situation. Therefore, the Chinese are going to arrange it at a New York hotel in the next month. But the China Fashion Gala will be virtual this year due to the COVID-19. The Yue-Sai Kan China Beauty Charity Fund and The China Institute announced the date of the event, 23 July 2020.

Performances by Big Brands in the Show

In this festival, excitingly, international celebrities will also participate that will enhance its popularity. Besides, the yearly functions expose the evolving Chinese talent by providing an international platform. It exposes the individual names to the world who tried their best to add China to the worldwide fashion and beauty industry.

Quincy Jones Productions decided to start the show with their extraordinary performance. The Thousand Hand Bodhisattva will also participate in the Fashion Gala with its stunning presentation. Chinese pay tribute to the disabled people from the Chinese People’s Art Troupe as they give a dance performance. Chinese dressmaking designers, including Xiong Ying, will also take part in the fashion show. She will present her designs with the label of Heaven Giana. The audience gets the chance to meet with other well-known characters like Guo Pei, Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Tam, Mark Badgley, James Mischka, Iris Apfel, Michelle Kwan, Bette Midler, Ban Ki-moon, and Angelica Cheung.

Honorees of the Chinese Fashion Gala Year 2020

Wendy Yu and Phillip Lim are the honorees of this year’s eve. Additionally, the beauty award will go to Estée Lauder. The group president for the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. and global brand president of the Estée Lauder brand, Stephane de La Faverie will accept the trophy. Jason Wu presents the Millennial Leadership award that Wendy Yu will accept. While Lisa Ling will be there to give a Leadership award to Phillip Lim.

Yue-Sai Kan Statement about the Great Fashion Gala 

Yue-Sai Kan will deal with the coming month’s Gala as she is the co-chair of China Institute and CBCF founder. She stated that:

These days everything looks upside down, but China Institute has weathered many storms throughout its nearly 100 years. We know it’s important that the world know China through the culture — through music, language, fashion, music, and dance.”
