Netflix decided to end the Next in Fashion competition series just after completion of one season.

Theoldschool produced and started Next in Fashion series while Robin Ashbrook and Yasmin Shackleton provided Executive with co-Executive Producer Adam Cooper.

Queer Eye fashion guru and a British designer Tan France and it-girl Alexa Chung, introduced the Next in Fashion series and hired eighteen stunning designers. However, they asked them to influence the entire globe with a unique and admiring dressing sense. The 18 designers showed their best performance to earn a big name in the fashion industry. Minju Kim, who was from South Korea, won the first prize in this season and took the top prize of $250,000. Besides, he also got a fair chance to introduce his brand collection in the Net-a-Porter extravagance fashion store.

The Fashion Industry Expert Guest Judges

The season consisted of 10 episodes, and guest adjudicators included industry experts. These included Instagram influencer Eva Chen, Elizabeth Stewart, Kerby Jean-Raymond, Adriana Lima, Christopher Kane, Beth Ditto, and Monique Lhuillier. Additionally, Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, Jason Bolden, Josefine Aberg, “Dao”- Yi Chow, Maxwell Osborne, and Tommy Hilfiger attended the event. Streaming giant, Netflix canceled the latest Next in Fashion series just after the only season. And there will be no more seasons from this competition series. One should also notice that it was one of the most likable fashion series on television.

Moreover, Netflix ended the reality TV show that Net-A-Porter was sponsoring. They have done the cancelation by the end of January right after introducing it to the world.

Tan France confirmed the reliability of this news while talking to Variety, he said:

“we’re not doing a second season.”

The reason why Netflix decided to end the series just after one season is still ambiguous. However, the social media giant used to respond when people did not appreciate the shows and even when they cost too much. We should not ignore the COVID-19 pandemic crisis as it’s one of the significant reasons for ending series.
